Why do we celebrate our Birthday?

My birthday is turning up soon and this led me to consider birthdays in general. Why do we commemorate our birthdays? Exists something unique about the day we were born? Well, there is! From an astrological point of view, we concern this planet for a particular function. Our astrological natal chart is a mandala of all the planetary energies operating at a specific location and time that is special to each person. Essentially, we are all symptoms of Spirit that have actually incarnated on this Earth at a particular space and time for a specific purpose. The astrological sign that you were born in offers a hint to your nature and your function here on this physical plane. We must
celebrate our birthday as a tip of our initial function here on this planet. Throughout the year we have sojourned through the twelve months and twelve zodiacal indications gaining the experiences that life needs to provide us. These are the Twelve Labors of Hercules that we go through every year. (From an esoteric viewpoint, Hercules&& rsquo; & rsquo; Labors are symbolic of the ego && rsquo; & rsquo; s struggles and victories through the twelve astrological indications). Every year, we go back to the time of our birth, not rather the same as we were the year before. Each vacation around the sun is various and brings new chances for greater awareness and self-realization.
It's interesting that a person of the customary birthday rituals that we celebrate is the receiving of presents. I am sure the majority of people have fond memories of some of their birthdays they had maturing and the presents they got. I remember one particular birthday where I received a brand name brand-new Schwin bicycle. It was midnight blue with streamers coming out of the handlebars. I was so delighted! That bike allowed me to visit my buddies and explore my world in a new method than I ever might before, bringing me ever new adventures. But there is one significant
present that we get every year that many people forget. And that is the present of life. God has given each of us the present of life! It is very simple to forget that. We end up being so involved with our trials and tribulations that we forget who we are and why we are here. Our birthdays are an event of the present of life, provided to us by the Universal Spirit. It is a time to assess who we are, what we have been provided and what we prepare to attain. It is a time to be grateful to God for our very existence. Thank you, God!Happy Birthday!
